QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

No one changes party because of something that happens extremely rarely. Fox paid 800 millions dollars for their lying. Why should I believe anything they say? Even the business "reporters" are nuts.
So, you think Fox reported a story that many other outlets are reporting and then fabricated and attributed a quote to the main subject of the story?
EU trying to look at the bright side of things. I think the US is hoping the same for us that we buy domestically. One issue in a global economy even things made in the USA really aren't 100% made in the USA.
Also some things like coffee and bananas which are wildly popular here aren't really grown here but for a few places. The US growers can't meet the demand.
Anyway, interesting times. Trump is doing what he said he was going to do and this is what the majority of people voted for as he won the election and the popular vote.
Hannity says this is our "Golden Age" and Democrats are "fomenting panic and hysteria as usual".
QuoteAs US demand wanes, inventories could pile up in Europe and elsewhere. That means more goods available for the domestic market—which, in turn, could lead to discounts and lower prices for European consumers.
So the job market posted better than expected numbers but with ticked up to 4.2% unemployment. Good news.
Trump asking us to hold tight and for rich people to buy low and get richer.
Quote"TO THE MANY INVESTORS COMING INTO THE UNITED STATES AND INVESTING MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF MONEY, MY POLICIES WILL NEVER CHANGE. THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO GET RICH, RICHER THAN EVER BEFORE!” Trump said on Truth Social.

Your retirement savings took a hit but the millionaires of the country can buy up those losses and maybe make some bank when the stocks recover. Hopefully that recovery happens before you retire. It's easy for the wealthy to hold tight.
I guess most of the Trump federal employee job losses aren't part of the equation yet and the private sector layoffs in response to the tariffs will show up next month. It's weird when we have "good" job numbers but unemployment numbers went up and my community and circle of friends/ family is littered with people who have lost their federal jobs.

Newsmax and it's ilk doesn't count as "other outlets." They just repeat what Fox wrote because they can't afford real reporters. Fox often drags out a rara avis to offer "proof" but these people are nothing more than a rare bird. They don't represent any movement . Yes, I believe Fox fabricates stories. A jury said so.
Beerman said:No vagina hats?
No "cat hats" (not the word that begins with a p) that I saw, but there were plenty of them in the Women's March I attended in in 2017. Back then people were protesting that man that said such a vile thing would be elected president. The issues are different now, keep up.
I gave you a serious answer although I know you were mocking me and the protests. Which really just mocks your question right back.

No. They know very well this was the icing on the cake. How ridiculous to try and spin it that it was this one person by itself that caused the party change. LOL.

This is going to leave a mark.
Trump said this was going to make us all wealthy.
