Hello fellow nurses,:nurse:

I freakin love this site:D I am glad we have a forum where we can consult and console one another. :yeah:Okay I am an RN with 8 yrs experience. I am currently doing contracts and have been doing ccu, csu and ICU. I feel much more comfortable in Medical ICU.

I am getting that desire to try thetraveling nursing again. Every year i go thorough it...should i go travel should i not..blah blah blah. :bluecry1: I have never tried traveling nursing.

I am in FLorida and I am looking to go to Virginia, Maryland, D.C, area. I was looking into the travel agency called OnAssignment because they provide housing and they provide you a rental car as well. Plus one of my friends has recommend them.--anyone have any experiences with them??

I know I dont want to be far from DC--I love the historical sites and would love to get a glimpse of our new First Family in the White House. That would be awesome!!:coollook::yeah:

Any tips of what hospitals are traveling friendly and that are good areas that are not far from DC?? I was thinking of Bethesda, Maryland or Vienna, Virginia.

My current contract ends in June and they have offered me a staff position but I want to get out of Florida for a bit...too montonous here for me.

I am a bit nervous especially when I read the posts about the bad experiences people have with traveling, cancelled contracts, rude staff, and just the frustration i sense from some of the bloggers makes me a bit apprehensive, plus i will be doing this solo so I hope I will meet people.

Thanks for the replies in advance!! :D
