hello all,
I am entering my second semester of nursing school in a ADN program. I am extremely nervous as I am aware that this is very different than out first semester. However, I am excited to begin this journey. In this rotation is included med-surg & maternity. However, I was given a med-surg:reviews & rationale book from a former student and wanted to know if this has helped anyone. I did skim thru it and liked that things were easily broken down rather than what was in the book. I am just not sure how much of this info the professors will go on. I was wondering if anyone found these series helpful, and if it would be worth getting the maternity porition of these series? Thanks for you input.

Yes I have found them very helpful. My preference is Saunders though. Especially for Med Surg

I have three books by MaryAnn Hogan - Med-surg, Fluids, Electrolytes & Acid-Base Balance & the NCLEX-RN review one. All three are great resources and helped me in school.

They are awesome. It clears some difficult topics for me. The questions in each chapter are great. Highly recommended.
