The Pearson VUE trick (Not always correct)

I took the Nclex on 08.30.14 .75 questions almost all SATA, no joke about twenty plus SATA. I felt like I was taking a SATA exam and not the Nclex; the rest of the questions where on delegation, priority and a couple of diagrams. I knew I was being tested at a very high level; not one question was easy, I had to think through each one. About 2 hours after the exam I did the famous Pearson Vue trick and I was prompted to put my credit card information in the system (according to everyone this indicates you've failed)... I almost had a nervous breakdown because this was my second time taking this exam. When I failed the first time I was prompted to put my credit card information in the system, so I was sure I had failed the second time too. I spent my Labor Day weekend crying, depressed and rechecking Pearson Vue to see if maybe I'd get the "Good Pop Up" (according to everyone this indicates you've passed). On 09.01 (Labor Day) my quick results (available in NYC) where available, I checked and I PASSED:yes:. I was ecstatic all my hard work had paid off. I advise anyone who tries this trick to please not get discouraged

and wait for your quick results (or whatever method is available in your state)stay positive and don't be discouraged until you've receive your official results. But whatever you do, do not re register because they will not refund the $200 registration fee. This trick is not always correct for those who are prompted to pay. I am living proof of this, since it was indeed correct for my 1^st Nclex exam (I failed) but was incorrect for my 2^nd exam which I PASSED. I hope this post can help alleviate some of the anxiety and uncertainty this trick can cause...Best of luck to all you future nurses taking the Nclex, YOU CAN DO IT...God Bless.

Congrats! The pvt has changed. Everyone gets the credit card page now. Did you put your credit card info in? After you put in your credit card number in and hit submit, that when you get the pop up. Of course, the new PVT isn't reliable. You're lucky you have quick results. Cali is behind the times so I have to wait another 2 - 3 weeks for my results.

Thank you..PVT has changed? Guess Pearson found out about the trick. No didn't put my credit card info in. You have to wait 2-3 weeks, ouch.. Hang in there and Stay positive..Good luck..
