The Ohio State University Traditional MSN 2023

Published

Hey everyone,
I finally broke down and made our AllNurses thread for the MSN Traditional at Ohio State 2023. Other threads have reportedly heard back by now, and here we are... LOL

According to the "timeline" we will hear back by the end of February. Can it get here yet? Let's all be anxious and check our BuckeyeLink every five minutes together. Anyone heard any good news for themselves yet?!

Hi! Did you hear anything back from OSU? I applied with the deadline extension and I am still waiting.

Hey there,

I did! They released admission decisions the week of 2/21.

Have you checked your BuckeyeLink? If not, reach out to them!! I've read some folks say they didn't receive a decision, because there was a computer issue.

Were you accepted? Oddly enough, I received an email today just saying "thank you for your application and an admission decision should be by the end of April".

They re-opened applications in February with an extended deadline of March 1 which is when I submitted my app. But I didn't think it would really take until the end of April for an admission decision LOL

@MTICU_RN

I remember seeing that they had re-opened the app for select programs! Congrats! Based off your "specializing in critical care", I imagine the Acute Care specialization? Best of luck! I would expect if they say end of April, expect to hear back April 30th or May 1. LOL. They stick by their deadlines! I applied for the initial application back in October, and they projected end of February prior to a release of a decision. It was right up to the wire.

Yes, I was accepted. ?

Yes, I applied to the AGACNP, and that's good to know that it'll be April! Now I can stop checking my buckeye link like a mad person LOL.
Congrats on being accepted!

I was the exact same, don't even worry about it! After about six weeks, I finally was able to go every other day prior to checking. LOL

Best of luck to you! If you need any support let me know.
