Hello
I was wondering which school would offer the best nursing experience, and has the highest passing rate. Hinds in Vicksburg seems to be better than nursing allied, but is Holmes also a better choice. I plan to apply to both schools.

I go to Holmes. Recommend it any day if the week, esp over what I've heard about Hinds. I've never gone to Hinds so I can't vouch personally but I've heard it's much harder and different than Holmes. The teachers at Holmes are great and the classes teach you so much but without killing you.
Holmes pass rate is around 95% first time taking the NCLEX. Maybe one or two people out if each graduating class

I'm no help, but I just chose Holmes. Mostly because its local. I'm currently working so if I don't get in quickly I can keep trying. Currently going nowhere in current job so a little longer won't hurt. I've taken classes before at Holmes and found the teachers pretty nice. Currently taking A&P and the teacher is very nice. We will see how the first test goes :)
livRN2012 What campus are you at? I'm currently at Grenada. I would PM you but you do not have enough posts yet.

I cannot decide if I should apply or not. Even though my GPA is above the qualifying GPA , I do not know if mine is competitive enough. Reading on these boards, it will make you nervous. It seems they only take people who basically have a 4.0 or close to it.
