What are the best things to do after graduating or after finishing nursing? just want to because i am graduating this March 2009.:yeah:

Congrats !!! to you :) After my graduation in July 09 I'm going to first give all the praise to GOD who got me through this tough program. After that I plan to go out to dinner with my friends and family and celebrate !

I would go and purchase a bottle of wine, however when I graduate I'll still be under the legal age to drink ! I'll be 20. My classmates and often joke about this, how I'll be able to help save lives, but can't even have a drink every now and again.

Take a review course and then take the NCLEX within the first 2 months of graduating to give yourself the best chance of passing on the first try. You are not really "finished with school" until you pass the NCLEX.

When I graduate I'm treating myself to a trip to Vegas or someplace warm and tropical. I will have just turned 21 a month and a half before. I think I deserve it :)

Get hired ASAP before all your classmates take the good jobs. However, try, if possible to get yourself a few weeks of time off before starting to work to just kick back and relax.

First, congratulations!

Second, reintroduce yourself to your family/friends

Third, go do something fun for you...go shopping, get a manicure, go have a few beers, something you enjoy

Fourth, catch up on sleep!

Five, start studying for Nclex
