What on earth do you say in a thank you letter (for an interview), when the interviewer NM was a somewhat hostile individual, and you wouldn't work at that unit for all the tea in the East?
I still do appreciate that she took the time out to interview me. I don't think her attitude was personal, just an inherent way of being. And I wouldn't want to burn any bridges anywhere. But what do I say???
I was interviewed for two different positions, and while I don't want her unit, she is also involved in the decision on whether I work in the other unit as well.

Thank you for your time on _________. I appreciated the opportunity to interview at your unit *while thinking but not adding ''if only because it ensures that never in a million years would I want to work in that hellhole*. I am looking forward to my return to the area *primarily because I know something better is waiting for me* and beginning/resuming my nursing career there.
Sincerely,
All truth, no lies, no bridges burned.
