I made it to the 4th and final semester of the RN program. However we have a Transition to Nursing class that every week we take a proctored exam from ATI, not for a grade, but to see where we stand in all subject areas. (Ex: Adult Health, Fundamentals, Psych, Pediatrics, etc.)
Anyhow, took the proctored Adult Health (Med Surge) exam today and I did not score well. For this class, we have to turn in each week 100 NCLEX questions from the NCLEX 3000, 3500, or 4000 (we can also use Saunders or Hogan's NCLEX review cd's as well) and we have to score higher than an 80. I am wondering if there is anything else out there that I can do (besides go back and take Med Surge again) to help bring my assessment level of Adult Health. I found the ATI to be extremely difficult and asked VERY specific items regarding procedures rather than the generic questions found on the NCLEX review cd's.
If anyone has any ideas or other programs I can do, I would appreciate them greatly. We have an Exit Exam coming up the end of March so I want to prepare for that. That is if I pass all my classes I will be able to sit for the Exit Exam. (Remaining classes I am taking now: Psych and Med Surge II, which so far I am passing Psych and Med Surge II).
Thank you!!!
