Anyone applying to Texas Women University? I recently attended an information session and spoke to Ms.Victoria the nursing coordinator for TWU. What are your stats? What advice to you give when studying for the TEAS? I know you have to apply for TWU first then get accepted. Then you apply to TWU NURSING. But I am somewhat confused on that process. I went to the apply portal and it does not give me the option to apply for FAll of 2016. I may have to wait. Any current TWU students that can give me any advice on the application process. It will be of great help. Thank you!
TWU is finally wrapping up our Fall 2016 admissions processing. There are just a few last issues remaining for some students, but once we get those handled, we will be able to do the rankings and send out notifications. I expect that acceptances/rejections will go out BY EMAIL at the end of next week. (If you are concerned about making the March 15th scholarship deadline - go ahead and apply. The scholarship committee doesn't award nursing-specific scholarships until we tell them who was admitted.)
Since this was the first time for us to use NursingCAS, we request that applicants complete a short survey about their experiences with the NursingCAS system. Your responses will help us to decide how to make changes (where possible) for the subsequent application cycles. The survey can be found at: https://www.psychdata.com/s.asp?SID=170680
It should take no more than 5 minutes, is entirely confidential, and will not affect your application for the upper-division nursing.
Thank you,
TWU Nursing Admissions Staff
