Anyone applying to Texas Women University? I recently attended an information session and spoke to Ms.Victoria the nursing coordinator for TWU. What are your stats? What advice to you give when studying for the TEAS? I know you have to apply for TWU first then get accepted. Then you apply to TWU NURSING. But I am somewhat confused on that process. I went to the apply portal and it does not give me the option to apply for FAll of 2016. I may have to wait. Any current TWU students that can give me any advice on the application process. It will be of great help. Thank you!
Does anyone's status say Complete on it? And if so, where would that show up? I'm considering calling to see what's going on. So nervous!
Mine never said complete. It only showed the transcripts were verified. I emailed nursingcas support and they just said "your application is available for viewing." I ended up emailing one of the advisors to make sure and she told me everything was OK. I recommend you to do that.
I'm not liking my odds, ladies. Spoke to my advisor and he said although my grades and scores are good, not having the TWU bump is going to be what hurts me, which feels unfair to me. He said he can't tell me for sure though, obviously. But if I do get in, it'll be by the skin of my teeth is what it's sounding like. I have a prerequisite GPA of 3.68, TEAS of 85.3, and applied for Dallas regular schedule program. He said he's hoping they'll be done later this week, but could be 2 weeks before they're done.
Do you have a previous bachelor? I've heard that helps a lot too
