Hello there!
I am an RN who will be relocating from CA to TX this year. We are looking for a house in the Dallas suburbs. My area of speciality is ER and I have 3 years of nursing experience. I currently work in a 40 bed ED which is both a STEMI and primary stroke center.
Does anyone have any recommendations for hospitals?
Also, what is the average pay in TX for an RN with 3 years of nursing experience?
Any advice or insight would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I graduated from a BSN program in December and am starting in the Neuro ICU/PCU next month at Parkland. I'm not sure if you want to work in the city but Parkland is a good option. I am sure Parkland needs ER nurses since the ER is huge. There is Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas but there is also a Baylor Scott & White in McKinney and Plano. Other hospitals to look at include Medical City (multiple locations), Methodist in Mansfield, Texas Health Resources (multiple locations), and UTSW Medical Center. Good luck!

Count on a big pay cut. The cost of living will be much lower too, of course.
