Is anyone else applying to Texas Tech's Second Degree BSN - Austin right now? I just took my TEAS V test yesterday, and I'm getting ready to send in all my transcripts this week. Its getting so close! I'm getting nervous and excited:D

Mid-October! That's just a couple weeks away! I can't wait either. TT is the only school I applied to so I'm REALLY hoping I get in!! Do you know when interviews will be? Oct, Nov? I've been looking at past year's posts and it seems like we should know if we get in late November. Good luck!

If invited, interviews will be in Austin on Oct 24, 25, and 26!

I know the application session just closed yesterday, but I cannot stop checking Merlin. I turned in my application August 2, so I feel like this process is taking forever (though, not really). I'm so anxious, nervous, and excited. Best of luck to everyone- hope you meet you on the other side!

Me too! I applied August 1st, and the wait has been killing me! Glad the deadline's passed and now only 2 more weeks to find out if we have an interview.

I just got an invitation for an interview (via email)!! So excited and nervous!

I just got an invitation for an interview as well!! Still a tad in shock/nervous but definitely excited!

Got an interview as well!!!! now to figure out how to answer the 2 questions in under 500 words!

Got an interview as well, woo hoo!!!!! Best weekend ever!!!! You're right, under 500 words is going to be tough.

I also got an interview... very nervous...!

Does anyone know how many are accepted?

I figured by the interview slots that they will interview between 75-100 students, possibly...

Roughly 100 people applied. 70 are being interviewed. 30-35 will be accepted into the program.

Will someone tell me what the interview consists of please. Also, what is meant by answering 2 questions in under 500 words... Thanks.

Dug thru the forum and found these questions.

1. This program requires you to be a self-starter and accountable for much of your own learning. What is your experience with independent learning and what skills do you possess that will help you to be successful in this type of program?

> 2. In order to help us get to know you better, please share a life experience or an interesting fact about yourself (i.e. foreign travel, previous career, leadership role/skill, etc.)

Don't know if there will be any changes.

No word on an interview for me yet, but the El Paso cohort is a separate program this year. Hoping to hear something this week!
