Spring 2016 El Centro College/ NLC ADN

I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!

hahaha I am with you on that!!!!

I didnt pass AP til 3rd try. The first HESI I took, I wanted to test right away and they told me there were no openings for 3 months. So I signed up for 2 at that time in case I failed one, I had another soon after :)

That's what I was going to do apply for the May 16th exam then there is another date for the first week of June. So I was going to do those two to see how I did.

Hi all, my name is Jeff and I'm considering applying for the Spring 2016 semester. I had originally thought about applying in the fall for the Fall 2016 semester. But I just really want to get this show on the road lol! I'm a little behind on all the extra things like immunizations, cpr, etc. Like I say, I wasn't really planning on applying this early so I'm going to try and get that knocked out asap. I'm currently taking A&P 2 and HPRS 1204. After this semester I should have 25 points before taking the Hesi. I'm going to try and take Nutrition in June so that I can get that on my application as well. That will only leave Micro, Statistics, and Chemistry. I'll probably take Micro and Stats in the fall, and not push my luck with Chemistry since I've never been very good at that. Plus I'm working full time on top of it. So hopefully after taking the Hesi and Nutrition this summer, I should be somewhere around 32 points.

Good luck to everyone, and I look forward to keeping up with you all!

I surely am. I'm ready to just apply lol

hello everyone!

If all goes as planned, I will be applying with 31-34 points depending on my HESI scores. Has anyone taken their CPR certification class?Any suggestions on how I could go about doing that?

31-36 points***
