rn pay raises

  1. in east texas most rn's(new graduate) start out at ~$18/hr. how long do you have to work before you receive pay raises, and how much are they? please tell me you don't have to work 5 years before they give you more than 18/hr.thanks.

    Typically, you will be evaluated for a raise around your 1 year anniversary, and yearly thereafter. You may or may not get a raise, depending on a number of factors.

    Most places give raises of 3 to 4% of your salary after one year.
