Hi guys!! Anyone else apply to this residency?

Does anyone have any insight on this residency or know anyone who has gone through it?

Thanks!!

Hi! I have applied, and received information about what to do further. My instructors have turned in my reference form, I have my unofficial transcript, and now I just have to complete the written portion and the application will be done. I am in the midst of finals, clinicals, research papers and more right now, so I am turning everything in this weekend.

What unit's are you interested in?

Hi!!! I have also got the email to turn in the required paperwork, so has one of my classmates. The application period ended so I wonder if we will hear anything soon or if they wait until the 8th when all the paperwork is due...? They say the interviews are in 2 weeks!! :wideyed:

I am hoping for Women & Children's as my first choice, and also Critical Care, but I'm not sure how the whole thing works as far as what units we interview for. What units are you interested in??

I turned all my supporting docs in last week! Just waiting on them now :) I'm hoping for the ER or critical care!

Welcome!!!!

I have turned in everything as well, and my clinical instructors said they have emailed their document back so now we wait.....!! :nailbiting: So nerve wrecking!! Have you applied anywhere else?

Did you see the Parkland ER Residency?

I am hoping for ICU/NICU (critical care) :) The panel interviews are very close to date, I just pray I am not in clinical's. I will defiantly miss class, but clinical ugh... it will be a sacrifice!

Same here!! The email said "the week of Feb 15 and Feb 20" so I hope it is truly during those weeks and not those days only- because those are my clinical and lecture days!

I guess I'll worry more once I know if I got an interview or not......I know someone who got a rejection email after the initial application so I'm happy to even make it this far.

I have applied at Parkland, Cook Children's, Children's, Baylor scott and white, and am working on Methodist now!

I have also applied to Parkland, Baylor, and Methodist. I am not eligible to apply at the Cook Residency because I am already an LVN (at Cook no less!). I have my heart set on a residency, but will stay at Cook prn once I graduate in May.

Its been a little overwhelming keeping track of all these job openings!! I hope we start to get responses soon.... :dead:

Oh wow, really, a rejection email? I'm glad that didn't happen to us!!

Oh wow! could you transfer to a new position at cooks when in doubt?
