I don't know much about any of the apts, but I'm moving in to Archstone on Fannin in July or August... it's right across from Reliant Stadium and right by a MetroRail stop, so no far walking in the rain!

I'm at Archstone Brompton. I've only lived here a week, so feel my opinion is not very adequate at the moment....a more accurate picture would be seen in time. I like it so far. They are older apts, but I live in a refurbished unit. They units are on the larger side. You pay all utilities. They have a private shuttle to the TMC, and tokens for this are purchased in the office. Fairly quiet so far. No maintainance issues as of yet, so can't comment on the speed or quality of maintainance, though I heard from another resident that it is quick. Small fitness center and a little convenience store is built into the complex. High speed internet services are available, and large dogs are allowed. I'm paying in the upper 600s for a 1/1.

Hi veggiegarden! I actually looked at Archstone Brompton! I could have got a really good deal there for a crazy amount of sq. footage. I'm still looking around at a couple of other places but thank you so for the scoop on Archstone Brompton. I will definitely keep that information in mind. It's nice to know what a place is really like because some of those leasing agents are almost as bad as car salesmen!

I stay in villas at coronado,, nice, quiet area, the apartments are new (I think they were built in 2004), I pay lower 600 and there is a washer and dryer in every unit.

foxyhill21, are you thinking about leaving Villas at Coronado? How do you like it there? I looked at it and I like everything about it except for the traffic getting in and getting out.
