Hello everyone,

Does anyone know about the hiring process at texas childrens hospital west campus? I got interviewed 2 weeks ago with 2 persons took almost an hour. I was excited coz theygave me a tour but until now I did not

hear from them. I called the recruiter follow up one week after my interview but she said she did not hear anything from hiring

manager yet. I was optimistic at first but now im getting frustrated, I mean if they really interested in me they would give me an offer, but I was also thinking maybe its too soon since they are still screening applicants since the new floor will be open in October.

I work for the main campus and I can definitely tell you HR is slooooow with all things hiring-related. I referred an RN from Hermann who applied on my unit in March or April and her start date is August 3rd. Don't lose hope! The whole hospital seems to be on a hiring frenzy for the past couple years. Just takes forever to get things going.

I recently applied for the Fall residency at TCH. Anyone else in the same boat? Or previous applicants, how was the interview process? Did you have to call HR repeatedly to get an interview? I didn't do clinical a at TCH so I know this might be a con.
