I passed my NCLEX on Thursday and had been told that my license number would be posted in about 48 hours. It has now been nearly a week and no number. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but I have to have my license number to get into a RN-BSN program with a July 1st deadline for the paperwork. I don't want to rock the boat and call the BON but I've only got a few more days to play with here. How long is it taking for most people to have their license # issued?

I took boards Sunday and am still waiting for mine as well as I don't get RN pay until it can be pulled up on TN BON site. Others at work say it takes 7-10 days for it to post.
Thanks Gauge for answering my post. Still no license number here. I think they are using a hammer and chisel to carve it out of rock, or something ;-)

Just curious, if you don't have a number how do you know that you passed?
You pay $8 to Pearson Vue and you find out in 48 hours
Gauge, You took the words right out of my mouth ;-) It ended up taking the state 8 days to get my license up on the BON website.
What time of day do they post them? It has been 8 days now and mine still isn't up. This is getting ridiculous.
My status was updated right around noon.

It took 9 days for my license # to appear on the BON site. I got my license in the mail exactly 14 days after passing NCLEX. Felt like a long 14 days!
Tomorrow will be 9 days for me. Hope it shows up!

It took me 8 days to appear on the website. Still waiting for the license to come in the mail.
It took about 3 weeks for my license to arrive in the mail. I called the BON and apparently there was some kind of glitch at the printers.
