Anyone out there apply for the Spring 2015 ABSN program at Hendersonville? I just finished applying by the august 1st second priority deadline and thought I read somewhere that we wouldn't find out our acceptance until closer to December. Anyone have an idea if this is right? Seems it might be from previous threads that it takes about 3-4 months to get the acceptance email. I'm from Illinois so trying to find a place to live and roommate will be difficult in a month's time if accepted in December.

kpetry03 I saw your post on the other thread. Thanks for directing me here. I also applied to the Hendersonville Aug. 1, second priority deadline. I will be relocating also. I have a daughter and my mother will be coming with me to help with her while I am in school. Three or four months seems like a lifetime to wait to hear anything! Oh well I guess thats part of it. Nice to "meet" you!

I used to live in Nashville but my dad died a few months ago so I went home (North Mississippi) to be with my mom until nursing school starts. So I will be moving to Hendersonville (or wherever I finally decide to go). Anxious to hear how the program is going for those who are already in though.

Aww I'm sorry to hear that! Yeah this is the only school I applied to so we will see what happens. But yeah it sounds like people love the program but not sure about the Hendersonville campus. I just know everyone likes the Jackson campus.

Hi, I also applied for the Spring 2015 cohort. I had posted an introduction somewhere else on here...don't ask me where...still trying to figure out site. I been reading a lot of older post from past cohort to get an understanding about how the process works. The Union website only gives you very little insight. I am like most of you very anxious and nervous all at the same time. I lived in Hendersonville, less than 9 mos ago, so I very familiar with the location. I even witnessed the whole constructing of the building and had the opportunity to tour there as well. I am very impressed with the Hendersonville campus and all that it has to offer students. Well, I guess in a few months we hear something soon. November? There is orientation and school starts in Jan. 2015 so somewhere around that timeframe. I think the deadline is 9-15-14, not priority deadline. However, I wish you two ladies and everyone the best of luck and blessings!!

Wonder when we will hear. Online it says somewhere that it is about a 6 week process between submitting the application to have it processed. I don't know for sure what that means… it seems from the last years cohorts that it took months to hear anything. Anyone else have any ideas? I was hoping to hear by the end of September but now Im not so hopeful because I heard some did not hear until December. Oh well… hurry up and wait! lol I have to move so I hope to hear before December because that would give me only a little time to get organized and find a place to live. Great to hear the good things about the Hendersonville Campus… thats awesome. Wish you all the best too!

Hi all!! Sorry it's been a while since I got on here last!! We are all wondering the same things and I emailed to find out when the acceptance notices will be emailed and Carrie Cantrell said we could be emailed anytime between now and November! So good luck and hope to hear from you guys soon!

Hey all!! Anyone hear any good news? I read some older threads that were for Hendersonville Spring 2014 cohort and it sounded like people received their acceptance notice within 2 months of their priority deadline. That's a little positive! Also I've found that classes don't start until the end of January, not the beginning. Great news since a few of us will have to find places to live! Lastly I read that there are about 30 students accepted, I just wish I knew the number of applicants!

Hey all! I applied to the Hendersonville campus as well for January and am anxious to hear. I like just applied, but was hoping we would know in a month...but it looks it'll be more like 2 or 3! I am from California, so Tenneseee will be a HUGE move if I end up getting in/going there, and I will most likely be wanting a roomie :)

Do you guys know if there is an interview? I know there was a priority deadline for this program, but I wonder what that even means, because the final deadline is 9/15...hmm....My friend just started an ABSN program in Nashville which is like 20 min from Hendersonville and she said she loves it out there (shes from CA too), so that's reassuring. But ya, I'd love to know ASAP. Post if anyone hears anything!

From what I can tell looking at last years deadlines they continuously pushed it back until even Jan. 1 the month it started. I don't think the deadline really means much. Maybe its rolling until they fill up. I don't know. I would be moving there too if I get in but have a child and won't be looking for a roommate. Someone on a post somewhere said they were applying to Hendersonville and wanted a roommate though. I was looking at the old posts for last years spring cohorts and it looked like some of them got their acceptance emails around this time of the year. So we might hear something any time now. Someone said anytime between now and Nov. Fingers crossed for everyone! Keep us posted if you hear anything. :)
