Moving to Memphis - Which school??

U.S.A. Tennessee

Published

Hi everybody-

I will be moving to Memphis this spring, and I am applying to the Accelerated BSN programs at the UTHSC, U of M, and Union University in Germantown to start in Fall 2007. I am waiting to see where I get accepted, but which one do you recommend? Does one have the best reputation for new grads in terms of being hired? Any other advice about any of these three schools? I am moving from CA, and have never posted on this site before, and I'd appreciate any advice you can give me.

Thank you!

Exactly, Towfer, it is what you make of it.

I think Loewenberg is a pretty good school with a few exceptions of course.

Specializes in none, still looking.

u of m is the best school in tn, it may be hard, but its the best thing going. I graduated from their and would not go to any nursing school in tn. I would probably go to Austin Peay in Clarksville, tn, and that's it.

I'm a student at the U of M also. You have to study, but it's a pretty good program.

Specializes in ICU, Med-Surg, Post-op, Same-Day Surgery.

I was just accepted to U of M for fall 2007, so I'm happy to hear that everyone thinks it's a good school!
