I've been considering attending Concorde Career Institute in Arlington for quite some time. The thing that has made me skeptical are their pushy enrollment reps. I've visited the campus before and if I call just to see when the next new class starts or if their enrollment fee can be looped into financial aid, all that they want to discuss is visiting the campus.
So, here are my questions:
1) Are they legit?
2) Has anyone graduated from there and received job offers?
3) What are their part time hours?
I appreciate any other info that you can provide!
Thanks :)

i can tell you that i have worked with some great nurses from concorde and know their program is legit.....however from what i hear it is very expensive. i am looking at teaching at concorde so i am researching their programs as well. but the overall quality of their students from what i have seen and worked with have been great.

I graduated from their LVN program in 2007- not sure if they still have the part-time program, but that is what I was in. It was expensive but worth it seeing as how I may still be on a waiting list had I not attended there. It is a very legit accredited school and I was well prepared for the NCLEX. I suppose it is like other nursing programs at another school. I also did not have many prereqs when I started. I have been an LVN since 07 and starting a bridge program in the fall. I have a considerable large student loan because of their high tuition but remember you get what you pay for. I would consider it, especially looking at how hard it is to get in to most programs. I was a little put off by instructors and the administration, just for various issues in general, but it did not affect my education. I do hope they have made some changes since then. All in all it was a good program and worth it to me.
