a company in michigan has an ad for rn's to do telephone triage and md referral, etc, from home or at the company. you have to download the application from the website and they want to know what pay you desire. i have never done that kind of nursing and i want to know what the going rate is so that i don't put down something that is unreasonable.

I currently work in a Call Center that is hospital based even though we are located in a building offsite. I have worked here 6 years and I make $29.35 / hr. I have an ADN and 24 yrs total nursing experience.

I saw your post and was wondering if this company in Michigan hires nurses from out of state as well as in Michigan?? I am actively looking for home-based nursing opportunities.

To answer your question-I was making $34/hour as a Telephone triage nurse working with a large HMO.

thanks for your responses. sflohaug, i don't know if they would hire an out of state nurse, they do say you can work from home, so who knows? go to their website, download an app and give it a try! the website is http://www.mobilemedical.org
