Tele is the bread and butter of staff nursing. This rotation will serve you a fine introduction to healthcare and likely shape your career goals.
Be polite, be respectful, get your work done, and don't be afraid of uncertainty.

I completely agree - MS/Tele skills are transferable to just about any other specialty area.
Be sure to have accurate information about the goals & expectations of your residency as well as the criteria by which your performance will be evaluated. Get this in writing. Then, make sure to obtain regular feedback on how you're doing. If you need any additional development (class, self study, etc) ask for it.
You've got this. It's a great way to launch your nursing career.

Telemetry can mean a lot of things. Sometimes it means, "most of our patients belong in an ICU." Sometimes it means, "Anal fistula who has chronic, controlled, asymptomatic afib." It's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.
Er, kinda depends on your org/floor.
