Nursing Students TEAS

hi everyone im applying for the nursing program in 2 weeks with a 3.9 prerequisite gpa, with 2 letters of rec, bilinguial profiency, and the advising session for CSUSB fall 2013. i took the teas and got a 70% but im going to retake it again in 3 weeks. will it be the same test, or will it be a totally different test or majority of it will be the same material from my 1st test?

I thought I saw on the teas website that you could only take it once a year. . . anyway I know for a fact that the program I'm applying for will only let you take it once a year.

Specializes in CMSRN.

It's very common to take the TEAS twice in two years, you just have to take them greater than 30 days apart.

They are different but obviously similar subjects and questioning.

my school allows me to take it multiple times and they just take the higher score

I heard its the same what version did you take and what school?

i was wondering the same because my school utmb allows unlimited attempts and no waiting period so i was wondering would it be the same material frm this month next month

I took version 5, at Loma Linda University

Hello, how did you do on he teas test, can you give me pointers on what to expect?

Hey,

Did you find out if you are able to retake the teas within 30 days?

I'm not sure if the OP(s) will respond because of the age of the post, but you will want to check with the school.

From everything I've read, schools vary in what they allow.

Some schools don't allow retakes, some schools allow another attempt after 30 days, etc. My school allowed a retry after 2 weeks. If you failed that, you had to wait a year, and the third try was your last.

Contact your school regarding their TEAS testing policy. That will give you the most accurate information.
