Failed the TEAS :(

Hi. I took the TEAS V Friday. I just barely passed the science portion. The questions that I know I missed, I had seen in the ATI study manual and in the McGraw-Hill 5 TEAS practice tests book. Both of those books will help alot with the test, I think.

The study guide from ATI really helped me out a lot and it had 2 practice tests in the back. I also took free practice tests online. Science was the hardest for me so i made my own study guide with information from the ATI book. I managed to get 77% in science, 86.7% overall. Math 96.7% (thanks to ATI book) I recommend just Study and Study :)

How is that failing?? I made a 63.3 and my school only requires a 46% to get into lpn.

There is no such thing as failing or passing the TEAS, unless you get 100% I suppose. It all depends on the school program, what they require and scores of the other applicants. Some programs require 40% while others require min 80%...

I failed yesterday, I followed all the guidelines from the ATI manual and website but someone I still bombed it. how does any one pass this I dont get it. Any advice for me?

I believe a 68 is in the sufficient range. You should take them again and use the first test as a study guide of sorts.What did you find the most challenging? go back and study that. Good luck and trust me it is not the end of the world if you do not get an " amazing" score. Be a diligent student and get good grades, and you will be fine.

Hi everyone,
I took the TEAS V yesterday and failed it with a 68% overall score. I did ok in the reading and math portions, but did horrible in the science and Language usage portions. Does anyone have any advice that can help me raise my scores? I am planning on taking it again in a couple of weeks.

I live in Texas and my school requires a minimum of 70% (overall)..... Its just frustrating because I studied so hard and still didnt meet the programs minimum requirements. Going to meet with someone this weekend who specializes in test taking skills so maybe that will help. :)

Hi everyone,

Reading all these comments, I don't feel really great. Actually I have the same problem. I'm planning on taking the TEAS test soon...can anyone tell me what am I going to be tested from? I mean science....everything what is in the ATI manual? because some of the tests, e.g. Hesi test doesnt require e.g. physics, so I'm wondering what about TEAS?
