TCH Grad Nurse Residency for Summer 2018

Hey guys, new here. I see that TCH has their grad residency opening January 29 - February 12, 2018. I graduate in May of 2018 and their residency starts in July. They have a ton of requirements. Good luck everyone!

I applied as well. Are all of y'all in a BSN program or ADN program? And do we know when the start date is if accepted?

I graduated in December from an ADN program. I believe the start date would be July-ish. I think it depends on the campus and unit from what I've read about previous cohorts.

I emailed the recruiter last week asking if my application needed to be updated since I passed NCLEX after submitting my application. She said she anticipated being able to start following up with people sometime this week. I have not heard anything else though.

I got a rejection email :(

I also received a rejection e mail. After contacting the recruiter, I was told there are only 10 available GN positions for this round, and that over 400 applicants were rejected. :( Best of luck to you guys!

That actually makes me feel better. I knew it would be competitive and I wasn't expecting to get a position (though I had hoped) but I was quite bummed that my application didn't warrant a second look. Knowing the ratio of applicants to positions helps me to take the rejection less personally. Thanks for the update!

I am in a BSN program. The start date is July 16th i believe.
