Hello!
Has anyone taken the TCC Accuplacer test for the College Algebra portion? I am going to be taking it soon to test out of Math 0350. I was just curious if there were any questions on linear equations. I did not see any on the test prep preview but wanted to double check. Thanks!

I am studying for Accuplacer at TCC, too, hoping to test out of Math on Friday. No tips, but lots of luck to us both! :)
Good luck!!! I am interested to see how you do! Did you say you are taking it on Friday? Is the testing center open on Fridays?
Thanks for pointing that out, I just called and the summer walk in hours at Northwest are Monday & Wednesday 8am-6pm and Thursday 8am-4pm. :)
I wish they did Fridays! That is my day off haha. Good luck!! I plan on taking it maybe next week. Do you know the guidlines on how often or how many times you can take it. I am applying to the nursing program next month so I have to pass it!
I am in the same boat, need to pass in order to apply next month! This is the info I have (copy/paste from website):
Accuplacer test results are available as soon as the test is completed. If a re-test is needed, there is no waiting period for first time re-testers; however after that, there is a 30-day waiting period. The THEA may be taken after the Accuplacer without the 30-day waiting period.
Great! Thank you soooo much!! Good luck:)
smvtx23 ~ how was the accuplacer? I got waaaay sidetracked and am finally taking it next week.
It went good! I passed! At first I freaked out because I thought I had to pass the college portion of the test. I called the Nursing Dept to confirm and they said that they only require the elementary algebra portion for the application process!! Wohoo!
Awesome! Congratulations!
So just need 64+ on Elementary Algebra section, right?
Have you taken TEAS yet?
I think it is a 63 but no more than a 64. I take the TEAS next Friday. Yikes!! What do you still have to take?
I take Accuplacer next week, then TEAS, then turn in application and sit and wait and wait and wait! :)
