Hey girl, thank you so much I could not figure out how to reply to the PM. I am a little lost to how to so things around here. I think I might need to go read the tutorial again. Thank you for telling me that . So your friend was an excelsior grad. Was she a Rn for long? Just a little stressed about endorsing but it will work out in the end i guess. I am suppose to done with this by the time we move out there. If my time lime works then I will be done with Exams by sept and hopefully being on the Cpne list by Nov. Lets hope. Hope your studying is going well. When is your next test? Kallie

no problem...usually you can just click on a person's name in any thread, and scroll down to "send private mesasge"
I'm going to take A&P mid-aug, but im supposed to move then too so i may have to put it off until the last week of aug beginning of sept. I've just got started with EC after A TON for research on the program. Once i get settled back in ohio and have a bit of a steadier schedule and help with my kiddos i will start zipping though them!
Good luck with everything and I hope you can abide by your time line! :)

Hey, just wanted to add something about Colorado. I'm currently living in Virginia, but my husband spent 10 years in Colorado Springs, and it's a favorite place for us -- somewhere we might consider moving in the next few years. (My vote is for Oregon, my home state, which has no restrictions for EC grads!) In any case, I wrote to the Colorado BON and asked if I moved to CO with a at least a year of RN experience, would I still need precepted hours? This is the response I got:
"If you have an active license in another state, graduated from a non-traditional nursing education program, and have worked a minimum of 2,000 hours as a professional nurse, you may apply by endorsement. Please refer to Chapter I rules, Section 4. The rules are available on our website at http://www.dora.state.co.us/nursing."
So that's good! :) One less thing to worry about, should we decide to move to Colorado Springs.
