Hey everyone! I haven't seen a thread for Spring 2019 yet so I thought I'd start one for us applying to discuss stats, comments, concerns, etc. I'll be applying to Round Rock once the application cycle opens up!

Hello kc415
We moved your thread to the Schools/Colleges forum for the best response. Good luck in your Nursing program.

Hey everyone! I applied to the ABSN track for Spring 2019 too! I chose Bryan/CS as my preference, but will accept an offer from the RR campus as well.
My prerequisite GPA is a 3.5 & my science GPA is 3.68.
Also, my Hesi scores were:
Math 98%
Reading Comprehension 90%
Grammar 92%
Vocab & Knowledge 98%
A&P 92%
Critical Thinking 890
Cumulative 94%
Hi everyone! I applied with prerequisite GPA of 3.87. My nursing science GPA is a 3.68 and overall GPA is 3.77. I made a 90 on the hesi exam and I have 4 years of medical experience. Im really hoping that my stats are decent, because I really want to get in!!
Those are great stats! I don't see why you wouldn't get in! Which location are you applying to? Are you an internal or external applicant?
Thank you! You have great stats as well! I am only applying to the college station campus for a number of personal reasons. Im an eternal applicant. Are you an internal or external applicant? I've heard they give preference to internal applicants and this makes me super nervous.
I applied to Round Rock. I have a 3.19 Pre Req GPA and a 4.0 Nursing Science GPA. I can't remember my score break down, but my overall HESI score was a 95. I'm hoping I am considered competitive..I also have about 2 years experience in a medical office as a Patient Care Coordinator, CPR certified, volunteer work, and am a member of Phi Theta Kappa. I know those last things are only a minimal part of their decision but maybe it'll help. Good luck to everyone! :-D

Hi everyone,
I'm Regina, and I applied to the second degree program only at the College Station campus. I graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in community health. I have a 3.77 overall GPA and a 3.86 nursing science GPA, and I got a 94.8 on my HESI exam. I have 3 years of experience as a caregiver and was a member of several organizations at Texas A&M. I also have community service experience at a hospital and leadership experience as well. Good luck to everyone!
Have y'all gotten an email about the Apply Texas application? Or anything? I'm starting to feel anxious lol
