Hello All,
I have only posted several times, but have found this group to be much support. Even though I dont post and communicate replies, I am reading them!
I just wanted to say that I re-taking the NCLEX this Thursday, February 5th, for the third time. I have had much preparation and have put the books down very little the past several days. I congratulate Jacel, as she and I went through Nursing school together as well as the hurendous feat of taking this thing soo many times. Great job, Jennifer!
I just ask that everyone say a little prayer or good wish for me. If you have any last minute advice, send it my way.
Thanks for ALWAYS listening!
I WILL and can OVERCOME this!!! :roll

The key to passing the NCLEX is BELIEVING that you will. don't go in with a negative attitude. you must believe that you are just as capable as the next person of applying the correct information to what those questions are asking. you have what it takes. you graduated nursing school(an accomplishment in itself) and now all you are doing is taking the last test. the biggest problem with nclex is that people scare the crap out of you and it causes terrible anxiety which is probably why alot of people fail. make sure you cover the four topics that are most likely to appear on nclex such as ob/peds, psych, med-surg and ALOT of priority. if you do this and practice with at least three review books you will do fine. the biggest thing that helped me was doing questions on my computer with cd-roms everday. i did at least 300-400 a day. i work full time and studied at work on my breaks. if you are a prayerful person, pray. it really helps. before you take the test write notes to yourself saying that you are proud of passing the nclex and stick them on your refrigerator. this will encourage you and strengthen your beliefs. good luck!!!!
