Hey guys, I've been lurking around allnurses ever since I received my ATT which was a month ago, but haven't signed up on the site until now. This site has given me inspiration and motivation and has been a great addition helping me prepare for the NCLEX! I thank you guys for that.
I'm taking the NCLEX this Saturday and I wanted your opinion to see if I'm ready.
I've completed about 3000+ questions.
My resources and grades include:
Kaplan - Qbank - 53%, Q6 - 51%, Q7 - 57%
PDA Lacharity - Average of the 18 chapters - 57%
NCSBN - Test 1 - 56%, Test 2 - 56%
I'm not sure how I feel about these grades at this point, but I'm taking the test Saturday regardless. I guess I'm looking for some reassurance. I don't have much time left as I was planning to rest all day tomorrow since it's the day before my exam. I still have to go over rationales for Qtrainer 7 in Kaplan and I still have to go over rationales for 5 more chapters in PDA Lacharity. I was wondering should I even bother? Or should I go over the study guide (not by allnurses.com) instead?
Any advice now would be MUCH appreciated. I've been anxious for about two weeks and I just want to get this exam over with. I don't know if my brain can handle anymore!

It's been said several times, but just to say it again, the Kaplan questions are much harder than the NCLEX questions. One thing is that you might come across something that you legitimately have never heard of (I came across one disease and on drug that I've never heard of and couldn't figure out by their names). If and when that happens just answer and move on. The other thing is when you've answered a question, let that question go.
Thanks for your advice, I'll try to keep that in mind during the test!

I took my NCLEX on the 7th I did Kaplan as well and trust me Kaplan is way harder... My Kaplan instructor let my graduating class know that above 60 on trainer 7 predicts passing the NCLEX. I did trainer 7 the day before my NCLEX and got a 63 but 265 sitting there about killed me! lol RELAX!!!!! Walk in and know that you have six whole hours for one test and guess what if you carefully answer everything you can easily pass at around 75 questions and you know what? You NEVER have to go through nursing school again this is one test that you can retake so don't over think it I passed at 77 and no lie over half my test was select all that apply. Everytime I got a select all that apply I was praying for another one lol bc higher level questions indicate that you ARE passing. I recommend going over trainer 7 theres a lot of useful info on there!
Thank you so much for the reassurance, I will keep updated after the test tomorrow! And I did end up going Qtrainer 7 and PDA rationales
I will also be hoping for all those SATA. I did hear the more you get the closer you are to passing.

many people have said that dont focus on the scores, focus on the rationales when doing questions
my scores were low too, but i focused on the rationales as everyone advised and passed!!! you'll do great
be confident and breathe during the exam!!

I go tomorrow afternoon. Today I'm fairly calm... Yesterday was another story though. I was freaking out. Only 2 of my friends know Im going. Im sure everyone else has been wondering why I have been more than moody lately. Bless em though because they have all put up with me.
Ive discovered my biggest issue is I read the question and answers and my instincts are one answer... Then I start to think into it and pick something else. And what would you know instincts are 95% always right.
But anyways :) Good Luck to you!!
