I got my ATT letter today, and I scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN on June 30th at 2pm. I can't believe it's finally here!! Im doing the Hurst review right now, along with the CD from my Saunders book and the test question bank from the NLN. Good Luck to everyone taking boards this month!!

Lucky you.
My school just mailed my information to the TX board yesterday. I was offered a spot in the Christus Santa Rosa Versant program, but I have to have my license in hand by the 29th of June. Without it, I lose my dream job. Even if they process my paperwork in the two weeks after this week, I find it highly unlikely that I will get a spot to test by June 25th. The fact that hospitals here in Texas require RN license to start perplexes me. Why have GN status if they won't recognize it.

I am going to be moving to Texas at the emd of this month. I just took my NCLEX-RN yesterday in North Dakota and I am getting the good pop up. I have been applying like crazy to Texas hospitals. I noticed they have a lot for GN's and I just continue to get application is still in review responces. Hopefully once I get my official results and my license # I will have an easier time getting a job. Good luck to you both!! I hope you can get in and pass in time for your job. And I hope you both just ROCK the NCLEX! I did Hurst review and I thought it was awesome! I had 75 questions on my exam, 23 of them were SATA. I was so nervous, but am feeling great now since I havce the good pop up!
Thanks Rich...congrats to you and good luck to Iseeyou.
Texas may have a large amount of GN positions, but not here in San Antonio. Christus only accepted 18 grads into the Versant program, so it was very selective, and I will hate to lose out on it. Methodist has a job fair this weekend for GNs, but there aren't that many spots available either.

My school took forever to mail in our information too, and that was FRUSTRATING!! I am sorry you are going to lose your dream job...that sucks. And I dont understand. Texas wont let you work as an RN on a temp license?
I am loving the Hurst review. Its scary to me though, because honestly the information they provide is soooo basic!! When you studied the Hurst material, did you study their pharmacology materials as well? And congrats on passing NCLEX! I cant wait to have this test over with!!
