Hi Everyone!
I am scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN in Minnesota on January 4, 2017. Less than one week away! I am SO anxious.
With my school, we did used ATI as a resource and ended up doing the 3 day live review where I received the Comprehensive NCLEX-RN Review book from ATI. I have been reading that and making notecards to further study. I have also been doing ATI practice tests/questions. I have purchased a UWORLD subscription and have been doing over 100 questions per day. I also have a Board Vitals subscription, but I prefer UWORLD. I have also been doing questions on NCLEX Mastery. Please let me know what you guys are doing to study! I guess I just want reassurance that I am doing the right things and that I will be ready.
Did anyone feel 100% ready to test and completely confident? Am I normal for being this nervous?!
Thanks in advance for all the help! :)

NCLEX is a life altering exam; of course it's normal to be nervous about it. If you think your nervousness may interfere with your ability to take the test, look into test taking strategies for anxiety in addition to practice questions and reviews.

I'm honestly doing the same thing you're doing. I too had a nclex live review with ATI, I dib and dab on my nclex mastery app and I also am using UWORLD. Have you taken the uworld comprehensive just yet ? Apparently it predicts your readiness for nclex just like the ATI comp. I believe in reading your correct and incorrect rationales, making notes , know your infection protocol, and definitely improve in prioritization and delegation questions as well. Nclex is testing if you're going to be safe at the minimal competency they don't expect you to know everything . Good luck !! And let us know how it goes.
Thank you for the support!
Yes, I just took the UWorld Comprehensive test that is 75 questions today. I got 98% probability (same at my ATI but I felt much more confident in my answers in UWorld which is good I think) and 77% of the questions right. It says my probability for passing the actual NCLEX is very high. I am hoping that it is right and I will do well!!

Wow wow that's crazy me and you scored the same on ATI comp I had the same exact one. I'll take the Uworld after I finished my concepts. Just study, pray(if you have faith), and def take a break the day before. You got this ! And you will become a nurse just you watch . Just continue reading your rationales and take it steady...and most important of all BE CONFIDENT!
Thank you so much! I am absolutely praying! Seeing my score on UWorld increasing as I continue doing questions also is giving me more confidence and a little more assurance than I can maybe do this! There is no way all my anxiety will go away until I read a "PASSED" on the MN BON! Good luck to you as well, you are definitely on the right track. We have got this!

Yes, UWORLD is the way to go. It's so similar to the real test is ridiculous. Did you study KAPLAN?
I did not study Kaplan. I used ATI with my school, which is a like-Kaplan service compared price wise. I used that a little, but I learn so much from the rationales with UWorld.
Hi!
I took the test today! I got there about an hour early and they let me in early to take it. It shut off at 75 questions. It took me about an hour and 15 minutes. I had 21 SATA questions and multiple choice. Contrary to what I was expecting, I left the testing center feeling pretty good with my answers. I didn't have any questions with content that I had absolutely no idea on. I was able to critically think and make great educated guesses on each question. I did the PVT and have gotten the "GOOD POP UP". I am hoping that my board of nursing will solidify my assumptions and tell me I passed!

I am in the same boat as you. I just took my NCLEX this morning!!
I wanted to give myself enough time to study and refresh my mind with concepts or areas I wanted to brush up on.
I think studying a chapter a night and being exposed to NCLEX style questions helped prepare me.
I also utilized the ATI folder they gave us at the Live Review. I mostly reviewed the lab values, and I am SO happy I did because there were a number of questions and answers with lab values and reviewing those a lot helped me answer those questions.
I felt surprisingly calm last night, and this morning I was calm until I went to the test center and I felt some anxiety...but once I sat down in front of the computer, the anxiety went away and I just did it.
It felt strange seeing that blue screen shut me out after 90-something questions...I have a good feeling though.
I wish you well on your results and hope we passed!
Hey everyone!
Found out this morning that I am officially a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota! I passed in 75 questions! I am so happy and relieved!

Hi! I am taking my NCLEX on feb 15th so I have about 5 weeks to prepare. I have taken the Kaplan review class online and I am utilizing their question bank. I am also purchasing Uworld test bank. So far I am at 52% without prepping. I am reviewing all topics I missed on my qbanks and taking 75 question test a day. Has anyone taken Kaplan who didn't do too well on the practice tests but passes Kaplan? I am afraid I am not doing good!
