I just enrolled into the AGNP Program, and everything happened so quickly that when it came time to register for classes, most of them were all booked. I was able to register for Advanced Health Assessment but it is recommended to take Advanced Pathophysiology before the Health Assessment class. I am a little bit scared. I hope I will do fine. Any word of advice?

You'll probably be fine. When I took advanced health assessment, unfortunately, it seemed more focused on assessing. We could all learn to conduct various assessment techniques then be left wondering, "ok, but what does this tell us?" Our advanced pathophysiology was rather low yield as well.

I think you will be fine. I took the two classes at the same time with no problems.

Hello I graduated from Hunter nursing in 2012 and my major was clinical nurse leadership. I took advanced health assessment. I just applied a post master certificate for fnp and they want to look at syallbus for advanced health assessmetn. I called Hunter and it will take 2 weeks to email syllabus to me.
Is anyone who can send a syllabus for advanced health assessment for me? I want to transfer credit as soon as possible so that I can register a new class ???
Thank you so much for your time.

Unless your program does something uniquely different, the order is not significant. It's not like math which taking calculus builds on knowledge of algebra.

I took health assessment before patho and had zero issues whatsoever. I spent time outside of the class content looking further into why we are doing certain assessments and researching deeper into disease processes. This however, was not necessary for the Health Assessment class itself (unfortunately).
