I work 40 hrs a week, and last fall i took Bio and Algebra (classes were easier) together and right now Im doing A&P1 by itself. I am really thinking of taking A&P 2 and Chemical Science together for fall 2008.

I have never done chemistry before(only basics in A&P1) but i know that i can do it (chemistry). With A&P2 i really wanted to take it with my A&P1 Prof that i have now. And i know i might not get this chance again cause im an evening student(he's classes are usually during the day) except for this fall.

I dont know what to do,I know I dont want to overload myself.Right now i study at least 2 hrs everyday( after work at night) for A&P1 and Im concerned if i wont have enough study time for both classes and I would like to at least try to still have a life.

Should i just go for it?:chair:

anyone out there who went through this already or something similar?

I will say that you know what you are capable of. If you really want to do this you may have to sacrifice your social life just a tad, but that's if you really would need to add study time for the chem. class.

I don't work an outside job, but I do have a hefty load of work to do. I am married, have 4 children, 4 pets and I volunteer and my husband has spent more time deployed than he has at home. Right now, I am in A&PII, Microbiology, and Pharmacology (12 credits). Last semester I had A&PI with a computer class, anthropology, world religion and intro to logic (16 credits total). I have a 4.0 with the 48 credits I've taken since Fall 06.

I'm saying all that to say this....You know what you can handle. If you want it, and you know it's possible for you to do well if you take both, by all means....give it a go and don't look back.

I decided that I'm going to take both classes. Hopefully i wont hurt my GPA.

And i realized that it will be a tough 4 months coming up.

I think if i read through some of the chapters before the semester starts (I can ask my prof which ones we'll cover) so when i do them in class i wont feel so overwelmed. Ill have an idea of what is going on .

Thanks for your help jewel:wink2:
