Taking A&P I this Summer? Would you do it again? Vote here!

Yup...I was 'GUNG HO' to take A&P I this summer in 5 weeks. I'm not working, etc.

I'll probably finish with a B, but I know I could have got an A if I took it the regular part of the semester.

I don't think I'll be taking part 2 in the second part of the Summer. It has taken over my life, added more stress than I could possibly imagine, 5 hours a day of classes plus another 6 for studying...4 days a week.

My vote: NOPE!

That's the reason I stayed away from summer science classes. It would have been too much since I also have a kid that is out of school....it would be too hard to study having him around constantly. I am currently only taking two 24 hour crash courses that will help me in nursing school...one is Spanish for Healthcare providers and the other will be in August: Pharmacology math. These are also only pass and fail, we won't get a grade.

I would do it any other way! I took both A&P 1 and 2 last summer; each was a 5-week session. They were the only classes I took, so I could concentrate 100% in them, and it worked because I made A's in both classes. I was extremely challenging, and the only way I made A's was because I spent lots and lots of extra time in the lab, but it was well worth it. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone who is willing to study take both classes in the summer and knock them out of the way. When they are the only classes you have to worry about, you can spend all your efforts on doing well. I say, go for it.

i am taking ap i now and will start ap ii in july. i like the condense version much better. i did all of my pre-req (the ones that i didn't get in undergrad) this summer except i will be taking organic in the fall.

Wow I would have never done that. In fact I hate 16 week courses too there too long. 10-12 week courses are PERFECT. I am in AP 2 and its a 10 week course and I'm loving it, its not to fast and not to slow....justttt righttt. I feel like the Wolf from Red Riding Hood, found the perfect bed LOL.

i would definitely do it again!! i feel like the condensed version forces you to really focus, and while normally, that's not one of my strong points, i can tell myself "just 2 more weeks", so it's okay. plus, my professor is pretty cool, so fourteen hours of class a week fly by.

OK, I'm a dork. In the very first sentence, I wrote, "I would do it any other way!" but what I really meant to write was, I WOULDN'T do it any other way. Silly me.
