Take out loans for easy, better known grad school or pick cheapest but harder school?

Published

Just wondering what my fellow APRN's did to pay graduate school as I may be stuck in this situation in the future.

Did you take out loans to pay off tuition at a expensive, perhaps private graduate school? (could be online, well known, prestigious, "easier", less clinical requirements, set preceptors, etc)

Or did you pick the cheapest route because you could afford it? (but it was much harder, required more clinical and units, had to find your own preceptors, etc)

Most would go with the cheaper route, obviously, but hey there's some folks out there who want to go to the nicer schools and pay up a sum. Just looking for an opinion.
