Hi im a new grad nurse and i really need some advice. I got offered a position at a facility but i will have 26 pts on my own on tge long term side and 13 for the behavioral. I really like the unit leader but not the ratio or the pay. As i was getting out of the interview i got a call for an interview for a hospital oncology position. Should i take the forsure job or wait and see if i can get in where i actually want to be? Any and all advice/ insight is welcome!!

If I were you, I'd wait for an opportunity that I really want. You don't want to be stuck in a position you don't like and it's not good to leave your first job quickly. There are always places needing good nurses. No need to rush into something.

I would ask the facility that offered you the job to give you a little time to think about it before accepting, no more than a week would be appropriate I think. That hopefully will give you time to attend the other interview and see how it goes before committing to the already offered job.
The thing that really jumped out at me from your post is it sounds like this facility offered you the job on the spot when you were interviewed. If this is the case I would be a little nervous about it anyway as an immediate job offer can mean they are desperate to fill the spot. Maybe it's because there is a high turnover there, or maybe there were not many applicants for the open position. It might not mean anything, but it also might mean it is not a great place to work if. Of course it could also mean that they were so impressed with you that they knew they wanted you without interviewing other applicants. Personally, if I were you I'd go with the last one!
Good luck whatever you decide!
