SWTCC- Fall 2011 hopefuls!!!

Hey,

Trying to figure out whats the best study guide to use when preparing for the pxn-rn exam? How soon should I study before starting to take the exam and prior to applying for the nursing program at southwest TN CC? I was considering Fall 2011 but I do not have my pre-reqs taken, and the deadline is just literally less than a month away, Its been a minute since I've been back in school so really unsure about things. Please tell me what you think or what advice you have:):confused:

Many people successfully use Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX.

I was wondering how long it'd be until someone started a fall 2011 thread... I'm applying-have to finish writing my essay and my application packet will be complete... Have 2 B's, and A, gpa 3.2 and nln 111... I sure hope I'm in the running! What are everyone else's thoughts?

They gave me a copy of the special application when I took my NLN at the Union campus. I'm not sure where you'd pick it up-admissions I imagine. Have you written your essay yet? Still playing around with mine...don't have much time left! How do you feel about everything, or do you know anything as far as past acceptance scores? I'm gonna go nuts waiting. My index is like 53 I think... Sure hope the competition isn't too thick! I'm 30... gotta get this show on the road!:uhoh3:

Interesting? I took my NLN in December so the testing center give you the app or did the nursing dept? I will have to it down soon

I wrote an essay for my UT Mem app that I plan to use with a little tweeking.

I wonder so else is applying in Febuary. I have not seen much on here about this application round. I must admit I'm alittle anxious!

Anxious is right... plus tax! It seemed like it took forever preparing to apply (pre-reqs etc) and then all the sudden its time! I can't believe its already here. The spring class had alot of action on here, but you're right- not hearing too much about fall applicants... maybe that's a good thing? I'm just ready to do this. I'm so nervous...
