Switzerland Nurse looking to work in Hawaii, needs info

My girlfriend is trying to move to Oahu, HI from Switzerland to join me here. She is a RN in switzerland and works at a heart clinic. She aspires to become a midwife and wants to work here and get her CNM degree.

Question 1: are there any colleges here that have a CNM program?

Question 2: What steps does she take to get a job here?

question 1 = you will need to look at your local colleges/school of nursing and see if they have CNM courses

question 2 = there is a sticky at the top of this forum with info on what to do for coming to the US but basically she needs to register with your BON and may have to go through CGFNS depending on their requirements, once meeting requirements she will recieve ATT which will enable her to take NCLEX, once she passes she needs to find an employer willing to petition her for GC. She will also need visa screen from CGFNS (seperate thing from CGFNS and requirement for immigration). This process can take approx 12 months (can vary)
