Hello, new member here! (sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread).
So I've decided to switch from my Bachelor's in Biology to a Bachelor's in Nursing.
My ultimate goal is to complete a Nurse Anesthesia MSN, but that's beside the point.
I'm still orienting myself when it comes to studying here in Puerto Rico and then working in the states, particularly in Florida. I know that you need experience for the MSN, and you need 2-3 years to be licensed in Florida if I'm not mistaken? I'm not sure if I need to take the NCLEX or just wait two or three years to get the Florida license.
Mostly I'd like to complete my bachelor's degree here because it's cheaper here. Out of state tuition in the US is too much.
So after graduating... will I have to be licensed here or can I take the NCLEX and work in Florida? Or any state, for that matter?
Sorry if I sound misinformed, I've been reading different articles and forums online and all of them have me extremely confused.
Thanks!
