I want to start this thread to encourage the passers from the June '06 board who are planning to retake the whole exam this June/Dec '07. I know you've been through a lot of discouragements, trusted the wrong people and God knows what.
I pray that you will have ample time to review, have resources available and kindred souls to share with you. Most of all, I pray for the healing of your mind and heart.
Calling on Dec '06 passers.. How did you review? Did you encounter irrelevant questions? Yes/No will suffice. Please don't post direct qxs from the exam here.
Prayers, encouragements, poems, even jokes are welcome here! :wink2:
Go In Trust
J.D. Freeman
The wood that is the world is wide
And full of trees from side to side,
So strange a place you cannot see
For certain where the way may be.
To find your way in it you must
For the most part depend on trust,
And you may take a turn or two
Before you find the right way through.
But when you go in trust, you find
You have a compass in your mind.

You can do it! I will pray for all of you. I am a December 2006 board passer. There were weird questions and there were easy questions. It was scary at first because it was the first time that the new BON made their questions.
I did a self review and it worked. Believe in yourselves and God will help you. God bless you all.

There were weird questions ever since and sometimes test takers may think they answered some easy items correctly but turns out they were incorrect as some questions are very subjective.

I agree with you :-) And there were a lot of analytical questions. And several NCLEX type of questions. I can still recall the out of this world questions but of course, I can't post them here.
God bless everyone. God bless you Lawrence, the super moderator. Keep up the good work. :-)

My goodness! I thought that our batch, the Dec. '05 got the last of the "love affairs saga" questions. Let's pray for objective questions this time. That's the least they owe the batch.

The Dec. 2006 NLE was 90% objective. I took both June (failed) and December. Don't worry about it being subjective. Gone are the days. Good luck!!! You can do it, go go go.
Hi, jennypanic ! This is good news for the retakers this June/Dec. No wonder the passing rate has improved.

thank you aquarian and all posters in this thread. this community has really been very helpful. i'm one of the 17,000+ victims of those few greedy people who orchestrated the leakage in the june 2006 nle. the news have dragged me and my fellow passers into a lot - frustration, anger, humiliation, everything! it's really tiring... but god turned these things around, he made something new out of this mess---a new me, a better me. through kind people like you, i'm up on my feet again. just this week, i surrendered my prc license and filed for a new set of exam. i'm set to reviewing again..:roll
to those december 2006 nle passers, any reference book/s that you can recommend that helped you a lot in your review?
god's grace be with you!

To all the June 2006 passers/retakers, you can all do it! Just believe in yourselves and God will be there to help you. I passed the December 2006 NLE with the help of God. And I know that he will do the same for all of you.
I did not enroll in a review center and I was so determined to pass the board without the help of any review center. I studied the usual books that we all have and told myself that I can do it. But all the glory I gave back to God for I could not have passed it without him..
May the good Lord shower all of you with his abundant blessings.

oh no! :uhoh21: im planning to waive my license too but when i visited the prc office here in our province (legazpi city) last thursday march 15, they didn't allow me to file for the june07 locals.. i asserted and told them that i will waive my license and register to take a new set of exams this june07 but still they told me to wait until the guidelines be released...now [color=#483d8b]with dole's stand of retake of tests 3 & 5 on the lime light, i'm again torn and confused with what to do.
im worried that maybe the deadline of filing for voluntary retakers of the entire exam has already passed and that maybe i will not be allowed to file for the june07 locals anymore... help with what to do? sigh...
i'll visit prc office first thing in the morning on monday and tell them that some june06 passers have waived their licenses and were able to file for the june07 locals...

i know the right thing to do is to take a new set of exam and move on. you guys here, give me a lot of encouragement and i thank you all for that. i just pray that everything will fall in its place and we will all be happy with the results of every endeavor we overcome.
btw, for june06 passers who waived their licenses and are preparing for the june07 locals, may i know the procedures/reqts that are needed if i will surrender my license and take a new set of exam?
[color=#483d8b]any reference material you recommend?
thank you so much! god bless us all!
