Summit College, Colton Ca

Published

I'm thinking about attending Summit College in Colton Ca. Has anyone's attended or is attending this school? What has your experience been etc....?

I have never been but they mixed pass rates http://www.bvnpt.ca.gov/pdf/vn_pass_rates.pdf

have you looked at the reviews on line?

Yes I have. Are you an Lvn in Southern California and if, so what school did you attend?

I do live in socal. I am not a LPN i am working on RN. I work in hospitality I am a HR manager for a large organization.

I am not a fan of the for profit schools. When i am reviewing resumes I will more likely call someone from a community college or Cal Poly Pomona well before i will some one from a for profit college. I have given people a chance from other for profit college and i was only impressed by one of many i think she would have done well no matter where what.

They are not WaSC accredited so say latter you want to be a rn or bsn the classes you took there will not count. I know many people who had to start all over when they wanted a BA.

I assume you live in OC? Try some of the community colleges or adult schools in your area. I live in the SGV we have El Monte-Rosemead Adult school, Hacinda Heights Adult School, Monrovia Adult school, PCC and many more that offer LVN programs at 4500 or less for the whole program.

Oh the $$$ part i am not a fan of huge student loans when you wont make very much for a few years. I fall in to the no more than what you will make your first year of work camp. I see so many people take $40-$50 thousand in loans and when the start to work they are making 25,000 a year for a few years. I know they can set your payment based on you pay but they don't adjust the interest and you will be paying longer.

The borrower is SLAVE to the LENDER.

I live in Riverside county. Thanks for the info about wasc accr I wasnt aware of that and need to do more research
