I used The Art of Ekg Interpretation by Karen Ehrat. I love this book! It's a bit expensive, but well worth it.

Hello! My nursing school had us purchase the book "EKG Interpretation Made Incredibly Easy" and with it, I did really well on cardiac exams!

Hi! The EKG made incredibly easy book was just that...easy to understand, and they had lots of sample EKG strips in the book, and very simple basic explanations of arrhythmias, treatments, etc...a good section on pacemakers and meds and an appendix in the back with all the classic arrhythmias you need to know (V. tach, V. fib, A, flutter, A.fib, PVCs, etc) so I thought it was a good book to have!

i'll recommend one NOT to get: ECGs made Easy by Barbara Aehlert... it glosses over too many concepts and isn't clearly presented...
i found Dubin to be more helpful...

Springhouse has a line of 'Incredibly Easy' books. They are all great resources. Try ECG Interpretation Incredibly Easy. Amazon.com has it.

Here are some websites that saved the day for me. Maybe the mod can put this in a sticky.

You should also check the nursing lab at your school to see what audiovisuals they might have for arrythmias. At my school the have a kick butt interactive ECG tutorial on the nursing lab computers that most of us found out about only after we had finished Cardio. If you're a visual learner something like that might really help you.
Good luck!
