I did the NCLEX yesterday I had 75 questions and I received my "PASS" results through the board of nursing online, without having to pay the $8.00 fee for the quick results;) It shows at the quick result that the results are not in yet:lol2:

NCLEX Experience; I've been reading here that a few people have failed this exam a few times:o It is a nasty test:uhoh21:

Tip 1 - Check your nursing board to see if they have posted your pass/fail.;)

Tip 2 - I used Suzannes plan THANKS Suzanne!;) After doing Suzannes plan I used the Saunders disk and went to the category with clients needs, delegation and practised on the areas I was weak in.

Tip 3 - I have done the Canadian Exam and the Nclex, and I have passed both on the first attempt. They are both difficult exams and they are similiar in that you can't memorize things, you have to understand them.

P.S. I thought I had failed both exams after doing them too!

I did not do all of Suzannes plan. I bought the Saunders book as she suggested and did the mini tests after each chapter. If I did not get 75 percent I reveiwed the parts I got wrong. I did this for every chapter. THen when that was done I used the disc to do the mini tests under different headings.

I studied approximately 2 hours a day for about 2 months.

luv2luvlife, so you did not review the whole chapter if you got lower than 75% just the ones you got incorrect right? seems better that way opposed to doing the whole chapter all over again too. i could see if you kind of struggled on a question, took a guess and got it right, id review that one to in that case. is this what you did?

I moved on from the chapter after getting 75% or more. I did not review it. I had the whole book to get through and I had to find the areas I was below 75%. The 25% that I did not get from the book would be discovered on the CD disk. So I covered that 25% on the disk. If I kept reviewing a chapter until I got 100% I would not get to the questions on the CD.:specs:
