Study Guide HESI Admission Test

I'm looking into applying to Yavapai Community College in Prescott, AZ. They require the HESI admission test before you can enter your application, along with the pre-req's. Then depending on how well you do on this test, you get in or you don't. They recommend a study guide, probably the official one, "Admission Assessment Study Guide".

Did anyone of you ever use this study guide? If you did, how well did it prepare you for the test? Since the test is what gets me into this program, I'd like to be as well prepared as possible!

i purchased it from elsevier just because i got tired of reserving it, then checking it out, and then not having the time to look at it whenever i finally got to my turn. i would not say that you could not do without it, but it did help just to refresh my math skills and see what they would be testing over on the actual test. you may be able to check it out long enough to make copies, then study but i just didn't have the time to do all of that with the rest of my studies and responsibilities.
