I am at a middle school and I had a student come in to see me this morning requesting his thumb be wrapped because "those student trainer girls wrapped it in this huge tight big ball and it hurt and I could barely get it off." I asked where the trainer was and he said "oh, she was not here today."
My thought is she must bring High School trainers over from the classes she teaches there. No, these are middle school kids running the office in her absence. What??? I am hoping these kids broke in and were pretending. Surely, the trainer would not allow them in there unsupervised?? Right??????
Can you imagine us training a 7th grader to cover the clinic in our absence?

Who is it on here who says What the Focalin?
No...I cannot imagine this occurring! But plainly it did. I am interested in the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey says.

I would be following up on this ASAP!
I handed this over to my principal and I think he is contacting the district athletic director. He almost went through the roof!
I will keep you guys posted if I find out anything else. I know she was here this morning because I got about 3 kids that she told if not better, see the nurse. of course they all piled in about 4 minutes after athletics.
