Hi - I was planning to move to California after graduation. A CRNA here told me that "jobs are really hard to find in California". Is this true? CRNA jobs are pretty easy to find out here on the east coast.

Thanks,

-S

You wouldn't think so but, I guess it is true ... if gaswork.com is any indication.

CRNA Menu

I only found 25 job listings in California ... but there were anywhere from 100-200 job listings in states like Texas, Florida and New York.

I wonder why?

Go to Kaiser Permanente's website...they have listings...and having just spoken to a new grad that went to work for kaiser...starting pay is about 140ish. If a Univ of Calif. hospital sparks your interest, go to that particular med center's HR page, they'll have any current openings. There seems to be plenty of jobs for those that are looking for them, they just aren't advertised well, if at all.

Hope this helps...
