Gonzaga University interview prep?

Nursing Students SRNA

Hey guys, just wanted to ask if there are any recent (within the last 2-3 years) that have interviewed @ Gonzaga. Finishing up my application and hoping for an interview in October, I feel like I look pretty good on paper and just wanted to be as prepared as possible for the (hopefully) upcoming interview. I've talked to a few former students and ex co-workers and have been told that it is a mix of clinical questions with some "get to know you as a person" type questions, with a mini "mock code". Any advice that current or former Gonzaga students can give me? I am applying to a few schools this year but Gonzaga is hands down my #1 choice. Thanks in advance!

If it is your hands down first choice, I'd advise interviewing elsewhere first to get the bugs out. Just me, some might argue otherwise, but I'd like to have a little experience going in to a more high stakes meeting.

Hey, ICURN1980 - - just curious if you have heard anything from Gonzaga? I applied to their program as well, and I'm starting to get a little anxious because I haven't heard anything.

Hey! I'm interviewing there as well!

I know a current student and she says it's very casual, get to know you type of questions. The last session is a mega code you run yourself based on your clinical experience. Review your ACLS or TNCC and know your H's and T's and rhythms.

Otherwise she advised just to be yourself and be poised.
